Stefan Escreet
Associate Director at Theatre by the Lake
Stefan is on the board at NWP and is Associate Director at Theatre by the Lake in Keswick where he has directed many productions and developed new writing work. He has already directed at the New Vic in Stoke, Watford Palace Theatre and the Brewery in Kendal. Stefan has also worked as a BBC Radio Drama Producer in Manchester and continues to work as a freelance radio drama producer. Prior to this he was a professional actor, appearing in fifty productions in theatres across the country.
His first contact with NWP was as an actor in several script-in-hand workshops in theatres in Manchester.

Theatre by the Lake has been able to host some very exciting workshops using the talents of our resident acting companies and NWP have been supportive with the development of our new writing work and by allowing us to use their script-reading panel to deal with that mountain of unsolicited scripts I never seem to have time to read!"
